ZTE reveals two new LTE handsets ahead of the Mobile World Congress

Both devices will be operating on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and will be powered by 1.2 GHz and 1.5 GHz processors respectively (make not specified).
The first of these is the PF200 smartphone which has a 4.3" QHD (540 x 960) capacitive touchscreen, an 8 MP rear-facing snapper and a 1080p (full HD) front-facing camera for video calling. This LTE-enabled handset will come with Bluetooth 2.1, GPS with a-GPS assistance, Wi-Fi, digital living network alliance (DLNA) compatibility, near field communications (NFC) capability, as well as mobile high-definition link (MHL) for connecting to home audio and video devices. Although ZTE didn’t specify which chipset will power the PF200, Phone Arena reported that the smartphone will feature a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor.

ZTE’s N910 smartphone will work across LTE, CDMA and EVDO spectrums. It sports a WVGA (480 x 800) capacitive display, 5 MP auto-focus rear-facing camera as well as 1080p front-facing snapper for video calling and taking self portrait photos. The N910 also boasts GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and DLNA capability, but doesn’t offer NFC or MHL.

“These LTE devices are the fore-runners of a wide range of LTE devices ZTE will bring to the market in the coming months, and as more and more LTE networks come on stream,” said He Shiyou, executive vice president and head of the Terminal Division of ZTE. “They will be feature products – among a very wide range of devices on display at the ZTE stand at Mobile World Congress 2012.”
ZTE stated that both phones will be on display at stand B145 in Hall 8 at the Mobile World Congress 2012, which takes place at the Fira exhibition site in Barcelona, Spain from 27 February to 1 March. No pricing or release info details have been released.
