BUSINESS NEWS SPONSORED BY DELL E-SERIES 24" MONITORS FROM DCC:

Acer Africa is offering a 3-year on-site warranty on all TravelMate devices and has guaranteed support through support centres located in every province within South Africa. Acer is also one of the few OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturer) with a dedicated in-house support call centre and online call logging portal. Additionally, by purchasing a qualified Acer professional product before 31 January 2023, and registering it within 30 days, Acer’s Reliability Promise will apply. This allows customers to claim a 100% refund of the full price paid if their Acer device develops a fault and is repaired under warranty within the first year.

Acer Africa has also recently expanded its TravelMate laptop range with six new models that were announced at this year’s Global Press Conference. The new 14” and 16” TravelMate P4 and 14” Spin P4 laptops are built for business professionals who need a laptop they can rely on. The new models come with various upgraded functionalities to meet modern work demands, such as the latest AMD or Intel processors, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, 1TB SSD drives, Windows 10 Pro, 13-hour battery life, and more.

Fast, secure, sustainable

The new 14” and 16” TravelMate P4 and 14” Spin P4 laptops now come with a 12th Gen Intel Core i7 vPro or AMD Ryzen 7 PRO CPU to ensure optimal performance. These models also boast a myriad of security features to keep user data safe, such as a TPM (Trusted Platform Module) 2.0, fingerprint reader, IR camera with privacy shutter, and support for Windows Hello secure login.

Along with security, sustainability remains a core feature in Acer’s products. The company strives to create a positive impact on the environment by reimagining the manufacturing process and using sustainable packaging. The new P4 and Spin P4 laptops use up to 37.7% and 34.5% post-consumer recycled plastic, respectively, as well as 100% recycled packaging materials – all in a bid to optimise the product lifecycle and build forward-thinking sustainable tech.

Built to last

Acer’s new TravelMate series is expected to launch in the third quarter of 2022. Certified with military-grade (MIL-STD-810H) durability, spill-resistant keyboard, and scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass touchpad, these laptops are now more durable than ever before. All Acer products are thoroughly checked and tested to ensure reliable performance even under extreme conditions. And, with their 3-year on-site warranty, as well as Acer’s Reliability Promise, customers can rest assured that these devices are built to last.

“From individual consumers to large enterprises, we want to give all our customers peace of mind knowing that they’re buying a product that is as reliable as it is innovative. With Acer’s latest range of cutting-edge hardware, the 3-year on-site warranty on TravelMate devices, the Acer Reliability Promise, and our quality after-sales service, we’re going beyond expectations to achieve that,” said Rui Da Costa, Channel Marketing Coordinator at Acer Africa.

The non-convertible models will retail starting at R17,876 while the Spin versions start at R19,578. To learn more about Acer’s latest products, visit https://www.acer.com/ac/en/ZA/content/acer-new-products
