Local Internet provider Openweb has introduced Africa’s first bonded ADSL in the cloud. The company has invested in a state-of-the-art cloud backbone that will deliver the lowest bonded latencies in the country.
Bonded in the cloud allows one to bond up to seven ADSL lines together and enjoy one single superfast upload and download speeds. Openweb offers a three tier redundancy system that will ensure continued performance when one needs it most.
Openweb CEO Keoma Wright says it has taken five years to perfect this technology. "We are finally happy to launch it commercially. We have developed an advanced system that offers true ADSL bonding."
Bonded ADSL in the cloud offers clients high speeds at a fraction of the cost of fibre or any other broadband technologies.
"Many clients do not have access to fibre or even VDSL, they can now use bonded ADSL in the cloud for their WISP, business, home or any application they see fit," he concludes.
