Samsung Electronics South Africa is honoured to reveal that it has been officially certified by the Top Employers Institute for the company’s exceptional employee conditions, at a scintillating ceremony held at an exclusive Certification Dinner at Gallagher Estate in Johannesburg.
The event was attended by roughly 800 Business and Human Capital Heads from 134 certified companies from 27 countries around Africa. A total of 77 companies received the Top Employers South Africa certification at the awards ceremony hosted by South African Comedian Riaad Moosa, with the certifications handed over by Top Employer Institutes’ Regional Director Samantha Crous and Country Manager, Billy Elliott.
The annual international research, undertaken by the Top Employers Institute, recognises leading employers around the world. This prestigious certification is rewarded to organisations that provide outstanding work environments, nurture talent throughout all levels of its operation and strive to continuously optimise occupational applications.

The first step in the certification programme is the HR Best Practices Survey, a comprehensive analysis of the company’s Human Resources environment. The Top Employers Institute, which globally certifies distinction in the conditions that employers build for their people, has declared the results of this year’s research, pertaining to noteworthy employers on the African continent. Samsung Electronics is one of the organisations to achieve the Top Employers South Africa 2016 certification and is delighted to be officially recognised as a leading employer.
