The WH-1000XM3 headphones are the newest addition to the highly-accredited Sony 1000X family, with multiple key improvements to enhance your listening and user experience.

These include Sony’s industry-leading Noise Cancellation using Sony’s newly developed HD Noise Cancelling Processor QN1, which works not only for Noise Cancelling, but also realises stunning high sound quality thanks to 32-bit Audio Signal Processing and the combination of DAC with Amplifier functionality. This offers exceptionally high sound quality, best-in-class signal-to-noise ratio, and low distortion for portable devices.

Adaptive Sound Control responds to the user’s environment, while Quick Attention Mode lets users hear what’s going on around them without having to remove the headphones - great for ordering drinks mid-flight.

These headphones are made to fly, as their Atmospheric Pressure Optimising feature allows the Noise Cancelling performance to adapt specifically to high altitude by using sensors to detect the air pressure around you and optimise the Noise Cancelling accordingly.

Customisable Automatic Power Off means the headphones can stay on in Noise Cancellation mode without being connected to a device – all the help you need for a great night’s sleep.

The 1000XM3 headphones feature a new, slimmer silhouette and are lightweight. A deeper earcup and thicker headband cushion boost comfort, and they are available in black or platinum silver with gold highlights.

Thirty hours of battery life are sure to please the most demanding of travelers, but a Quick Charging function offers five hours of wireless playback after 10 minutes of charging, in emergencies.

And, if you’re wearing your 1000XM3 headphones while out and about and working, voice calls are now clearer thanks to multiple microphones, making hands-free conversations even better.

The WH-1000XM3 is available for R6,499 at Musica, Dionwired, Incredible Connection stores across South Africa.
