When it comes to mono laser printing you definitely don’t want to wait more than a split second for your documents to pop up.Speed is king, and when it comes to speed there is nothing quite like seeing the pages spitting out from Konica Minolta’s PagePro 4650EN mono laser printer.

Give or take, you are looking at about 34 pages per minute. We liked the 4650EN’s large paper tray, it holds about a ream’s worth of paper, so constant trips to refill the printer is kept to a minimum. There is a second tray just above the first tray that can store an extra 150 sheets of paper or special media such as company letterheads.

The printer’s robustness hides little in the way of features – there is no duplexing on the machine (it’s an optional extra),and special features are kept to a minimum. Having said that, our test model included a USB slot to print documents directly off flash disk, but you would have to buy an extra CF card to get this working. Some other features, such as secure printing, are only unlocked if you buy an optional hard disk drive.

Available from Konica Minolta on for R8999. Call 0800-BIZHUB for more info.

PROS
Super fast printing, big paper try means less trips to refill paper
CONS
Features like duplexing only available as optional extra. No CF card included to use USB flash disk printing.
