Drive Control Corporation (DCC) is pleased to announce that the gaming-centric Dell Inspiron 15 7559 notebook, also known as the “Pandora” is now available in South Africa.

The basic model starts with features that will earn gamers’ respect, including the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M 4GB performance-class graphics card and Core i5-6300HQ Skylake processor with 4GB GDDR5 discrete memory.  This translates into a graphics driving force that delivers high frame-per-second rates in games and accelerates the tasks of video editing and transcoding.

It is also simple and inexpensive to add an SSD drive, double the RAM, and still not break the bank. Additionally, serial upgraders will be pleased to know that the entire back panel comes off with a single screw.

Delivering optimum performance, the Inspiron 15 7559 makes use of an optimised cooling design that handles the processors and graphics heat output using two cooling fans, three exhausts and large vents with 240 thermal fins. This means users are guaranteed uninterrupted gaming and smooth streaming with a cooled system. Plus with 6th Gen Intel i5 and i7 Quad-Core processors, users will have all the power necessary to enjoy both gaming and entertainment, while staying cool.

According to Frank Lumley, Business Unit Manager: Dell at DCC, the Dell Pandora is primed for play and consumers can choose from multiple hard drive options, including a 1 TB HDD dual drive and a 128 GB solid-state drive for plenty of storage, stability and responsive performance. "In light of a marathon battery life provided by a 6-cell 74 WHr battery, it is a notebook that can do it all," Lumley notes.
