One Channel, a Cloud ERP specialist and Acumatica partner for Africa, has announced Acumatica's content pack for Power BI at its recent “Cloud ERP & Mobile Revolution” event series in Cape Town and Johannesburg. The integration of Acumatica Cloud ERP with Microsoft’s Power BI brings Acumatica and One Channel’s real time business analytics to a next level, ahead of the pack.
Acumatica was honoured to be showcased in front of Microsoft’s core developer community. This collaboration with Microsoft demonstrates Acumatica’s commitment to investing and extending its products in the most powerful ways possible.
One Channel CEO Bernard Ford says the content pack allows users to seamlessly export and integrate information from Acumatica CRM and ERP into Power BI, to leverage Microsoft's capabilities when it comes to visualising and filtering information. "Thanks to the integration, both Acumatica and Power BI users will be able to take advantage of the cross-platform features in Power BI."
Laurent Dedenis, President, International Operations at Acumatica said, “In today’s world of connectivity and big data, customers expect access to real-time data and analytics on the go – anytime and on any device, which legacy systems struggle to provide. This integration with Power BI represents just one of the many way in which Acumatica delivers powerful tools to address the markets’ needs whilst future-proofing their ERP with integration and leverage with top industry standards.”
Ford says this is part of Microsoft’s strategy to expand the power of its Office applications through new developer tools that allow third parties to connect their apps to the larger Office ecosystem. “Tools like this have the potential to be a win-win for both parties, Microsoft gets to add more value to its platform and developers get access to a broader range of customers.”
James Phillips, Corporate Vice President of Data Experiences for Power BI at Microsoft adds: “We’re thrilled to see Acumatica work with us to integrate their solution with Power BI. Our engineering teams collaborated to deliver this powerful solution so that Acumatica users can analyse and visualise their ERP data with live dashboards and reports.
"They can also combine Acumatica ERP data with new data sources, in the cloud, to gain new insight and make fast, informed business decisions,” he concludes.
Power BI is now available worldwide, it helps customers keep track of their businesses with live dashboards, interactive data reports, and other shareable insights. New Power BI content packs include popular data sources such as Google Analytics and Twilio.
