The African market plays an important part in Acumatica's global expansion strategy. Local Acumatica partner and cloud ERP specialist, One Channel, has echoed the company's global success through its rapid expansion across the African continent.

Over the past three months, One Channel resellers have secured no less than eight new Acumatica sites in the region including South Africa as well as neighbouring countries such as Zambia and Namibia.

One Channel CEO Bernard Ford says there is no other ERP vendor that has even come close to this kind of growth over the past few years. “Businesses across all geographies and sizes are realising the game changing benefits that a Cloud ERP with integrated CRM brings to their growth strategy.”

“Acumatica is so far ahead of any competitor, it is the fastest-growing cloud ERP company in the world today. Acumatica allows companies to tailor their business management applications to fit their exact needs, no matter how specific their requirements," he explains.

Adding to its success, Acumatica's CEO Jon Roskill was recently named to The Channel Company’s 2015 Top Midmarket IT Vendor Executive list, which features the industry’s most influential vendor executives serving midmarket customers.

This year’s The Channel Company’s 2015 Top Midmarket IT Vendor Executive list features more than 60 executives who have made a long-term commitment to and investment in the midmarket. The vendor executives on the list are strategic leaders in their organisations and have proven track records of meeting the needs of senior IT leaders of midsize organisations.

Roskill joined the Acumatica team in March 2014, and the company continues to build midmarket momentum under his leadership. Acumatica Cloud ERP helps small and midsize businesses unlock business potential with its sophisticated suite of business management tools and its flexible deployment and licensing options. The Acumatica Cloud xRP Platform also enables software companies to create Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications more quickly, easily, and cheaply.

“There’s a void in the midmarket, and Acumatica is committed to filling it. We’re eager to show more midsize businesses what the Cloud can offer them. Receiving this award is a testament to the work we’ve done in this sector - we aim to build up that foundation even further in coming years," said Roskill.

Ford says the impact of cloud will have a huge effect on companies and the deployment of ERP will be changed and challenged like never before. "ERP providers will see a dramatic shift in their own sector with a larger push for competition, innovation and functionality. We are already seeing this change in traditional ERP vendor’s messaging"

"The top IT priorities within organisations are cutting IT costs and improving processes and operational efficiencies. ERP software has proven to be costly both to implement as well as to maintain for most medium sized businesses, but True Cloud ERP makes robust enterprise software suites viable for these organisations for the first time," he concludes.
