Genetec Inc. today announced that Brent Cary recently joined the company as regional sales manager for the sub-Saharan Africa region. In his new position, Mr. Cary will be responsible for developing sales strategies that bring the company’s unified IP security solutions to the growing African market, recruiting and hiring new sales people, and expanding and supporting the company's network of certified systems integrators and channel partners. 

A security industry professional with over 13 years of experience, Cary joins Genetec after holding various senior sales positions at international Fortune 100 companies and small-to-medium enterprises in the Video Management Systems (VMS) and Access Control industry within South Africa. He holds a degree in Business Science from William Carey University Gulfport, Mississippi, United States of America and a Bachelor of Commerce degree, specialising in Marketing from the University of South Africa (UNISA).
