Internet Solutions has been named as a Microsoft ExpressRoute partner, providing their clients with a private and reliable connection to Microsoft Azure cloud services. ExpressRoute is ideal for client needs in scenarios such as data migrations, data replication for business continuity purposes, disaster recovery and other instances.

Greg Montjoie, Executive: Connectivity at Internet Solutions said: “We are pleased to expand the quality and variety of direct connectivity options we currently offer to our clients with ExpressRoute. With more business function moving to the cloud, we have been working hard to provide our clients with better basic standards of connectivity. We already offer direct interconnects to cloud service providers around the world, and ExpressRoute is a great last-mile solution for Microsoft Azure.”

With its status as a Microsoft ExpressRoute partner, Internet Solutions (IS) has confirmed that it will be offering ExpressRoute connectivity to Microsoft Office 365 at the same time that it is made available to users worldwide, during the course of Q3 2015.

End-users to experience the benefits of ExpressRoute

This means that Office 365 users will enjoy more predictable network performance, the ability to manage network availability, as well as the reliability that comes with dedicated connectivity. Furthermore, ExpressRoute makes it possible for most Office 365 traffic to avoid the public internet, paving the way for additional data privacy.

“Having Internet Solutions provide ExpressRoute services to its customer base in a predictable, secure manner is what we strive for, because that truly ensures an exceptional experience for our common customers. We would like to congratulate and thank Internet Solutions for taking the journey with us,” said Leon Wright, Business Group Lead: Cloud and Enterprise at Microsoft South Africa.

Office 365, delivered via the cloud, gives users anywhere, anytime access to enterprise email and file sharing without compromising security. The suite includes intuitive tools for online meetings, file storage and sharing, and makes it easy for teams to connect and collaborate wherever they may be – securely.

“Our ongoing partnership with Microsoft sees Internet Solutions offering the best possible support and service to our clients,” says Montjoie. “We are determined to provide comprehensive solutions tailored to the increasingly complex demands of companies that have greater expectations of mobility, and this partnership is just one of the ways we are delivering on that. We are giving our clients the opportunity to empower a mobile workforce without compromising on data security.”
