If there is a one franchise for which a new entry that has been eagerly anticipated for quite some time, it is Devil May Cry.

The latest trailer for the impending Devil May Cry 5 shows why – it’s over the top, unapologetically violent, rich with snarky characters and rife with outrageous weapons. And it looks like a helluva lot of fun. In other words, everything that we have to come to expect from Devil May Cry.

The latest trailer also shows a terrific variety of demons that players will have to confront, from your standard demon soldier to  something that looks like a Halloween nightmare come to life and another, like an octopus gone very wrong. In case that wasn’t enough, the trailer further includes a segment devoted to an entirely different way to commit vehicular manslaughter.  Release date, incidentally, is early March.
