With a week to go until the shopping extravaganza that is Black Friday (24 November 2017), Xbox South Africa and Prima Interactive, a leading distributor of interactive games and products in the country, have revealed some appetite-whetting deals for gaming enthusiasts. For one day only, on Black Friday, South Africans can purchase an Xbox One at never-seen-before prices.

The Xbox One S with a free controller of choice (Black or White) will be available at the unprecedented price of R3 499 for the Xbox One S 500GB or R4 499 for the Xbox One S 1TB console. Xbox One is the latest generation of gaming consoles and is the only console designed to play the best games of the past, present and future.

The Xbox One offers high definition gaming, an expandable hard drive, and backwards compatibility with a growing selection of Xbox360 games. There are over 1 300 games, with 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and 4K video streaming. Xbox One allows users to stream their Xbox One Games to a Windows 10 PC or tablet in their homes. Another key feature of Xbox One is that it can expand its HDD space with the addition of an external drive.

“On Black Friday, we are giving fans the chance to buy an Xbox One at the lowest prices ever seen in South Africa. For gaming fans, it just doesn’t get better than this,” says Ian Hepplewhite, Prima Interactive.

In addition to the Black Friday deal on consoles, there are discounts on games to snap up. The outrageously popular Forza Motorsport 7, probably the most comprehensive automotive game ever produced, will be available for R799. Forza Motorsport 7 immerses players in the exhilarating thrill of competitive racing. From mastering the new motorsport-inspired campaign and collecting a wide range of cars, to experiencing the excitement of driving at the limit, this is Forza reimagined.

These and other Black Friday deals from Xbox South Africa and Prima Interactive will be available at leading South African retailers and e-tailers on Black Friday.
