Samsung Electronics South Africa has launched a new online Cyber Service Centre, enabling customers to pre-book the repair of their mobile devices at a service centre and time that is convenient to them.

“The Samsung Cyber Service Centre forms part of our ongoing commitment to deliver a first-class service to our clients,” says Richard Chetty, Service Director at Samsung Electronics SA. “Consumers can simply manage their repairs by logging onto the site and registering their devices. Once online, the user can access the booking form and submit the model and serial number of the device to receive a reference number. On confirmation of the reservation, the user will present the reference number to get the assistance they require on arrival at their chosen service centre.”

The website has been designed to make navigation as easy as possible to provide an exceptional customer experience. Menus have been clearly marked and the service booking form can either be printed or emailed, ensuring that the appointment information is on hand. Furthermore, the solution also enables consumers to change or cancel a reservation at any time, making it suitable for consumers.

“A comment feature, whereby users can leave a short description of the fault, has been developed,” continues Chetty. “This will allow us to prepare and even order parts if required, thereby potentially reducing the repair time.”

For consumers, this service helps save time and allows them to manage their agendas accordingly. It eliminates standing in long lines waiting for assistance, and then waiting for the repair, when the device could be inspected and repaired whilst the consumer undertakes other tasks. This is another way that Samsung has committed itself to transforming our service offering to deliver solutions that improve and enhance our consumers’ lifestyles.

Samsung’s Cyber Service Centre is a swift and simple solution that guarantees all Samsung customers with mobile devices receive the best quality of service when they need it most. Users can access the site via the following link: http://cybersvc1.samsungcsportal.com
