Other notable highlights in the past two years for TECNO in South Africa have been the brand’s on-the-ground activities. These have included involvement in the 2022 South African Music Awards (SAMAs), participation in the 2022 South African Social Media Awards (SASMAs), giving R80,000 to an entrepreneur in the #SparkYourHustle competition, and a partnership with CarMag for motor racing’s Extreme Festival. The brand is constantly looking at ways to showcase itself while at the same time partnering with events and activities that bring value, entertainment and fun to people’s lives.
