News: Win with Nokia and Ovi Maps




	Step One: Setting up an Ovi account

	Log onto this website www.ovi.com If you do not have an Ovi account please register all your details to create your personal profile on Ovi. If you have already created an Ovi account you can skip this step and move onto Step Two. Information required in your profile is your first name, last name, language, country, email address and cellphone number. You must create a username and password, please ensure you save this information in a safe place to access your Ovi account regularly. Once all the details have been verified the screen below will appear indicating that you have successfully created an Ovi account. Please click the continue button to enter the Ovi homepage.

	Step Two: Setting up an Ovi mail account

		Once on the homepage please click on the Ovi mail icon to create an Ovi mail account. Once your details have been verified you can begin planning your route on Ovi Maps.

	Step Three: Planning your route on Ovi Maps

		Once you have entered the Ovi Maps icon. There is a tab titled ‘routing’ enter this page and begin routing your dream destination.

	Step Four: Submitting your entry to stand a chance at winning

	Once you have mapped out your route for your dream getaway please screen grab your route. To print screen on a laptop – press the Fn key + Prnt Scrn key at the same time, then go to the Paint programme and press Ctrl key + letter V at the same time to paste your route To print screen from a Mac – To copy an image, press the Command-Control-Shift-3 keys. The screen shot will be placed on your clipboard for you to paste into another program. To print screen from a PC – press the Print Screen key at the top right hand side of the keyboard then go to the Paint programme and press Ctrl key + letter V at the same time to paste your route. This screen grabbed route must be placed in the body of your Ovi mail account by simply cutting and pasting the map from Paint or any imaging programme. Below your route please write a short paragraph detailing your dream getaway. Example: My ideal getaway is a road trip with three friends from Johannesburg to Cape Town on the Blue Train. Once we arrive in Cape Town we plan to hit the Cape Town night life by partying at a club on the evening of arrival. On day two we plan to do the Cape wine route and thereafter have dinner on the V&A Waterfront. Day three will be declared tourist day; we will visit Robben Island and dip our feet at the Cape of Good Hope where the Pacific and Indian Ocean meet. The tourist trip is not over as lastly we need to ride a cable car to the top of Table Mountain where we will enjoy lunch and a sun downer cocktail. This will signal the end of the road trip and it will be time to make our way home with a host of memories that will last a lifetime.
