2K Games has announced that gamers who purchase a copy of Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition, will gain access to a demo of the highly anticipated FPS title Duke Nukem Forever that will be released in 2011.
 
According to IGN, the special edition Borderlands game will include a free membership certificate for the Duke Nukem Forever First Access Club, whereby users will be able to experience Duke Nukem Forever “prior to the retail launch of the game”.  
 
The company plans to release Duke Nukem Forever, which has been in development since 1997, for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC in 2011. It is being developed by Gearbox Software, which is the same development team responsible for Borderlands.   
 
Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition which will be available as of next week (12 October) in the States for the Xbox 360, PS3, as well as the PC, includes all four downloadable add-ons for Borderlands. 
 
These four included DLC packs are The Zombie Island or Dr. Ned, Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot, The Secret Armory of General Knoxx and Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution.
