FNB Connect has introduced new lower call rates of just 25c per minute, which the company claims are the lowest local and global call rates.

These new rates will apply for an initial promotional period of three months and will allow FNB Connect customers to make local as well as international calls for as little as 25c per minute, anytime during the day to both cellphone and landline numbers.

“In yet another first for the South African market, FNB is once again rewarding its customers for their loyalty. FNB Connect customers can now call any country in the world for only 25c per minute, on any device and at any time of day or night. We are committed to developing innovative products at extremely competitive price points, all of which is to reward our customers and help them reduce the cost of telecommunication,” says Farren Roper, operations manager at FNB Connect.

“With more than 70 000 customers already registered with FNB Connect, we have made good progress and gained traction in the local marketplace. Backed by good after-sales service and ongoing positive feedback from our customers, we are confident the new 25c global call rate will gain favour with even more consumers,” Roper stated.

Customers can download the FNB Connect software application for their compatible cellphone from the Apple iTunes store, Nokia Ovi store and Andriod Market and PC users can sign up for the service on the website.
