Sony’s new tactics to boost sales of its PSP go in the
According to a post on Sony’s blog, purchasing a PSP go from now until the end of March 2011 in the US, will entitle you to an emailed PlayStation Network (PSN) voucher that allows you to download three free games to the value of $80, as part of the PSP go Digital Game Pack.
The 3D update for Super Stardust HD and WipeOut HD will still be free for PS3 owners who didn’t purchase a Bravia TV, but they will need to pay ¥300 (around R25) for Pain’s 3D update.

Michael Jordan is back on the (virtual) court
2K Sports has announced that basketball great Michael Jordan will feature on the cover of NBA 2K11 when it is released on 5 October for the Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, PS3, PlayStation 2, PC and PSP.
“It’s an honor to be featured on the cover of NBA 2K11,” said Jordan, current majority owner of the Charlotte Bobcats basketball team. “I have no doubt that NBA 2K11 will be a big hit with gamers and basketball fans alike. I’m looking forward to getting back out onto the court, virtually. Let’s hope they get my dunk from the foul line right.”
New Harry Potter games set to magically appear this year
Electronic Arts and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have announced two forthcoming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows videogames. The release will coincide with the last two feature films in the Harry Potter series. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 will be coming out in autumn on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, PC and various mobile devices.
“The final Harry Potter adventure has given us the opportunity to make a darker and more action-oriented game than we have before,” says Jonathan Bunney, head of production at EA Bright Light.
