Waging guerilla warfare within Crysis 3

Crysis 2 set the benchmark for how good a FPS title can look and now the forthcoming Crysis 3 looks set to follow in the army-issued boots of its predecessor.

Set in New York City during 2047, gamers won’t be stopping over at Broadway to see the latest theatre production, since the city has been transformed into a kind of urban rainforest, encapsulated by a huge dome. This has rather limited your entertainment options to hunting all manner of nasty Ceph aliens with a lethal composite bow, but we really don’t mind.

Two weeks back we got a taste of what the game will look like courtesy of some screenshots and designer concept art being released, now you have the chance to see what it will play like in the E3 gameplay trailer posted after the break.

Crysis 3 will only be released in February 2013 on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC.

Medal of Honor Warfighter

We love blasting away enemy combatants as well as the shrubbery, tanks or building they were hiding behind within FPS titles, as our review of Battlefield 3 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will attest to.

EA’s Medal of Honor Warfighter (MoHW) introduces the Task Force Atlas, represented by a multi-national Special Operations Task Force comprised of twelve different Tier 1 units from ten different nations. These soldiers are sent into hostile areas on whose soil even the marines fear to tread, and we see them dodge some bullets in the single player gameplay trailer posted below.

It should be out in October 2012.

Need For Speed Most Wanted

After trying to be the first to New York in Need For Speed The Run, racing fans can now look forward to some open world racing action within Need For Speed Most Wanted (NFSMW).

Those that love the Burnout series will appreciate developers Criterion Games’ take on the new driving style for NFSMW, with blistering speed, huge drifts as well as mouth dropping, slow motion styled crashes.

To get a taste of the new gameplay, watch the trailer posted below. The game will leave the development pits for the gaming highway during October this year, when it is released for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 as well as Windows PC.

FIFA 13 shows its skill on the pitch

Last month EA Sport talked a big game, when it came to the latest forthcoming edition in its ultra popular soccer FIFA franchise. It features many different gameplay enhancements, the likes of an overhauled dribbling system that enables you to change direction quicker, faster acceleration whilst running with the ball, and to shield the ball more effectively from defenders for longer periods.

We decided to wait for the first actual gameplay footage to drop before getting all excited about the game and now thanks to E3 it is here, so feast your eyes on the trailer posted below to decide if the gameplay bite lives up to the PR bark.

FIFA 13 will be released locally during spring onto Windows PC, both HD consoles as well as a slew of portable gaming devices.

Footage from PES 2013 training camp

Those who prefer to get their soccer action via Konami and its Pro Evolution Soccer series as opposed to FIFA, can watch the gameplay trailer for the upcoming PES 2013 posted below. Like FIFA 13, PES 2013 will be released this spring on the HD consoles, Windows PC and other popular portable gaming formats.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2

Fighting game fans will be entering the combat arena during November 2012 on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, within Namco Bandai Games’ Tekken Tag Tournament 2. Players will have their pick of the largest fighter roster in Tekken history with over 50 playable characters, as well as another four additional characters: Kunimitsu, Ancient Ogre, Michelle and Angel arriving in the first round of DLC for the game.

These characters, along with all future fighters that will be added to the roster via DLC, will be available for free. We can’t wait to be tagged into the most anticipated iron fist tournament ever. Check out the awesome fighting action to the beat of rapper Snoop Dogg in the trailer posted below.
