Nokia Lumia 710 available in South Africa

The Finnish firm has made its Nokia Lumia 710 available to local smartphone buyers, looking to get their smartphone fix courtesy of Windows Phone OS. This smartphone is available from Vodacom and Cell C outlets for a recommended retail price of R3999.
Just like its bigger brother in the Lumia range, the beautiful Nokia Lumia 800, the company’s Lumia 710 (119 x 62.4 x 12.5 mm, 125.5 g) is powered by a speedy 1.4 GHz single-core Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU.
The latest Lumia also boasts the same amount of RAM (512 MB) as found on the range topping Lumia 800 as well as the responsive 3.7" (480 x 800 pixel resolution, 252 ppi pixel density) ClearBlack TFT capacitive touchscreen, which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.
Also onboard the Lumia 710 is 3G HSDPA connectivity, GPS with aGPS assistance, Stereo FM radio with RDS, Wi-Fi 802.11 n, Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR, a 3.5 mm audio jack, interchangeable back covers and 1300 mAh Li-Ion battery capable of delivering music playback time of up to 38 hours, according to Nokia.
