Local internet service provider (ISP) RSAWEB has announced the immediate availability of True Cloud Servers (TCS), a cloud hosting platform that allows users to deploy and provision fully operational servers in minutes. According to RSAWEB this service is the first of its kind to be offered in the country.
 
TCS allow for the on-demand allocation of new server resources to cater for resource intensive applications or abrupt website traffic increases. Clients will only purchase the resources they require and only pay for what’s provisioned. Just like with traditional servers, TCS offers businesses complete control with full administrator access to their server, allowing them to select their choice OS, apps as well as configuration. These resources can be controlled on a day-to-day basis as the demands placed on the server change. 
 
Prices for the service start at R256 per month for the Server 256 (256MB RAM, 1 vCPU, 10 GB Storage), rising to up to R1 495 p/m for the Server 4G (4096 MB RAM, 4 vCPU, 80 GB Storage). RSAWEB is assuring a 99.99% guaranteed uptime on the product, backing this up with a refund for any downtime that is experienced.
