If you’re the type of person who wants to capture every moment of your life on film and get it on the web ASAP, but you’re not overly fussed about the quality, then you will probably rave about the Vado Pocket Video Cam from Creative. It’s about the size of your average cellphone and feels strong and sturdy.

Creative have made the Vado as simple as possible, so all you get is a five-way navigation controller, Play and Recycle Bin buttons, and a Power button along the edge. The advantage of this is that there’s not an awful lot of setting-up to do. You just press record and you’re away. There are two quality settings to choose from and, at the highest setting, you can record about 60 minutes of video.

We like the fact that the Vado has a pull-out USB cable, so you can just plug it into your PC and upload your clips. With a RRP of R1659 it is great value for money.
