An answer to the PS3's Heavy Rain for Xbox 360 users, Alan Wake is a psychological thriller that ropes you in from start to finish.
PROS
Gripping storyline and presentation. Excellent environments.
CONS
Lip-syncing sometimes on the same level as dubbed kung-fu movies from the past.
VERDICT
Alan Wake is very engrossing and enormously entertaining to play. Definitely one of the stand-out titles of the year.
