The E-Panda is the latest to join an already strong lineup of music and gaming headphones from Razer. We see how it lives up to the Kraken name.
Comfortable; snug fit with ample cushion; handles bass heavy music at full tilt
Not ideal as gaming headphone; nothing to really separate it from competition
The E-Panda Hooligan is designed to appeal to a loud, brash set, and looks like it for the most part. It's only when you slip them on that you start to realise that they are a one trick pony. The hooligan is simply that, a hooligan. When you start to play music outside of the heavy pounding of dub step or drum 'n bass, the E-Panda falls worryingly short. Added to the fact that it costs just over R1000, you begin thinking that these headphones are merely a fancy paint job.
