LG's Optimus L II series finally hits local shores, with the L7 II packing a decent feature and spec dollop for its R2 600 price.
Excellent display for the pricepoint; Jelly Bean runs the OS show; handy OS features included with lightweight Android skin; good camera performance in adequate lighting conditions; compact device; useful quick launch button; affordable midrange smartphone; expandable storage via microSD; and funky notification light.
Noticeable lag when multitasking; nondescript design does not scream LG Optimus smartphone; and low RAM amount for memory hogging Android platform.
If spec-and-feature bang for your bucks matter more than having a more well known smartphone brand and eye-catching design, than the LG Optimus L7 II was made for you.
