If you are in the market for an excellent midrange smartphone, Samsung’s Galaxy S4 mini is one of the leading contenders.
PROS
Looks and feels like a mini version of the S4; smooth performance thanks to its snappy CPU and good dollop of RAM; good camera; expandable storage; you can swop the battery; and IR blaster on board.
CONS
Non-HD display; and has very little in common with the S4 when it comes to software enhancement.
VERDICT
Samsung’s Galaxy S4 mini is a lot more affordable and compact than the Galaxy S4, but does not boast enough features to make it king-of-the-midrange-hill.
