At this year's major motor shows, BMW has been detailing its vision for motoring over the next 100 years. It kicked off in Geneva in March, and now the company has a new concept that should pique the interest of keen motorbike enthusiasts and Caped Crusaders in our opinion. Although the name is a little long winded, the Vision Motorrad Next 100 is contrastingly sleek in its design. The German automaker revealed the bike in Los Angeles, and if it ever hits the roads as a fully fledged offering, will definitely turn some heads.

Along with a unique design, with a carbon fibre body accounting for most of the bike, it also sports an unconventional method of steering. Instead of normally turning the handlebars left or right to change direction, this new system requires a rider to twist the handle bars backwards or forwards to make a turn. As such, it might take some getting use to. 

It also sports an onboard camera system for driver assistance and avoiding crashes akin to the self-driving car systems of today. Furthermore, it claims zero carbon emissions, according to BMW. Take a look at the Vision Motorrad in action in the images and video below.
