Bandai Namco releases trailer for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 18 May 2016 | Categories: newsWith the latest Dragon Ball Z TV series failing to leave a lasting impression like the original one, we've been craving some good Super Saiyan action. Luckily, Bandai Namco has had a Dragon Ball project in the works for some time, and has now debuted an announcement trailer for its Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 game.
For those that played the first Xenoverse title, the concept remains the same. Gamers take up the role of an unnamed Saiyan warrior and head back in time to pivotal battles, trying to right the wrongs and hopefully save the Saiyan race in the process. As such, events like Frieza killing Bardock (Goku's father) or Dr Gero's Androids destroying the world as we know it, can get a do-over.
The game is currently being developed for the PS4, Xbox One and Windows PC, but no release date has been mentioned just yet. Bandai Namco will, however, be bringing a demo version to E3 this year, where more details will likely be revealed. Until then, hit play on the trailer below.
