Still here? Great, let's continue. Episode nine, titled Battle of the Bastards saw everyone's favourite former Lord Commander (Jon Snow) go head to head with the universally hated Ramsay Bolton. As such, there was a massive battle to mark the occasion, as Snow and his band of Wildlings, as well as a few others, had a bloody affair outside the walls of Winterfell with the newly self-proclaimed King in the North. 

It was also the largest battle (without the aid of CGI) that HBO has coordinated for Game of Thrones to date, and one that was certainly not for the squeamish. Everything from a giant, heavy cavalry and tons of arrows was required to pull this one off. With GoT fans in desperate need of any tidbits about their beloved series, HBO recently released a behind-the-scenes featurette detailing how the battle for Winterfell was created.
