Bungie revamping weapon system in latest Destiny 2.0 update
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 17 July 2015 | Categories: newsSome interesting news for Destiny gamers, as Bungie has detailed some of the fine tuning for in-game weapons it will be rolling out with its impeding 2.0 update. The update has hinged heavily on the feedback from Destiny gamers, many of which flooded Bungie's developer inbox during the game's Trials of Osiris expansion pack.
Although this massive weapons update will not address issues in Trials of Osiris, it is intended to tackle any of the issues that may have potentially popped up in Destiny's Iron Banner expansion.
In terms of the actual weapon changes, which are too long to fully list here, some include the increased base damage and quicker falloff for auto rifles. Others changes see subtle integrations for pulse rifles in PvP mode, as well as optimising scout rifles as a long range weapon of choice for gamers.
If you're keen to know all the changes, head to Bungie's developer post here.
