Call of Duty: WWII’s Headquarters will allow gamers to fine tune their skills
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 23 August 2017 | Categories: newsNot one to be left out of the Gamescom action, Activision has released a new video for Call of Duty: WWII. With details on the actual feature that the developer has introduced for the latest entry in the franchise, we’ll have to do a bit of guess work on what they’re calling Headquarters.
From what we can tell, it will be an in-game mode where gamers will be able to fine tune some of their skills before heading to the battlefield. To that end, they’ll get the chance to go through different weapon drills to get better accustomed, but whether that translates to in-game experience points or skills is unclear.
There also seems to be an area for 1v1 matches called The Pit, where gamers can go up against one another in melee-style combat. Added to this will be obstacle courses and mini-missions for would-be fighter pilots out there.
Unfortunately, Headquarters is an unconfirmed portion of the impending private beta for Call of Duty: WWII, so you’ll have to enjoy the trailer below until the game makes its debut on 3 November.
