Clinton Lubbe: Hope that the nerves never go away. After being published every single month in a variety of publications for the last ten or more years, I still take out my camera and find myself nervously self-questioning if I can pull this shoot off, my mind racing through options, bankers and wild-cards. If you don’t realise that this just means that you care, you allow the nerves to get hold of you and rush you through a shoot, missing the best opportunities. Breathe, pretend to be in control, take your time and give each shot the respect it deserves then deliver. What defines a professional is their ability to deliver results in any given situation.
