Lee Slabber: Picking out one particular image is always tricky but on a recent trip to the Kgalagadi I had been photographing a mother cheetah with her four sub-adult cubs over a few days.
On this particular morning two of the cubs started to play with each other and then ran up a dead tree. As I pulled out my camera they stopped playing for a brief second and stared at me in a classic, family portrait like, pose. A single image like this can make a trip all the worthwhile.
