In our ongoing Canon Series, we talked to commercial, food and wedding photographer, Quintin Mills about his favourite photo and the story behind it.

Quintin Mills: Before client shoots I often use one of my family members to stand in as test subjects. This results in some strange portraits - everything from pyjamas to hair going in all directions.

There was one shoot that I used my son as a stand in, I told him to hold his skateboard and just to look cool. I think I might have used the phrase "stand like a model". And this is the resulting image. Love it, it is really one of my favourite shots.
