With E3 just around the corner, June 16th to be more precise, all the major game developers are getting their proverbial ducks in a row before the three-day long showcase begins. Joining their compatriots is Capcom, with the Japan-based developer announcing a Mega Man Legacy Collection, as well as all confirming the playable game roster it will be bringing to E3 2015.

Those TechSmart readers old enough enough to remember 8-bit gaming, should have fond memories of playing Mega Man back in its heydey. The Mega Man Legacy Collection will pay homage to Capcom's favourite blue suited, arm-cannon touting hero with six titles in all. Along with being a cross-platform release, including next-gen consoles, Windows PC and Nintendo 3DS, Mega Man Legacy will comprise of two primary gaming modes - Museum and Challenge.

The former serves as a great place to start for those unfamiliar with the Mega Man character, according to Capcom, and contains unlockable content like hi-res images and concept artwork. The Challenge mode however, will appeal to the more hardcore gamer, as it remixes gameplay segments from all six segments of the Mega Man Legacy Collection, to provide gamers with something a little more difficult to take on.

Joining Mega Man Legacy are a slew of titles that Capcom has confirmed in recent months, all of which will be playable demos at E3 2015. Among them are Capcom fan favourites, such as Resident Evil 0, a remastered version of the original prequel to the Resident Evil gaming franchise. If survival horror isn't your thing, there is still plenty of action to enjoy, in the form of Street Fighter V and Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition.

Unlucky not to be heading to Los Angeles to enjoy all the gaming treasures that E3 has to offer? We've included the trailers for a few of Capcom's new games below as a small respite.
