It’s going to be a wild ride for geeks in May, since not only is Deadpool 2 set for release Friday, 18 May, but Han Solo gets his origin movie in the form of Solo: A Star Wars Story. It starts locally on 25 May, and from those who’ve seen the premiere, it seems like, despite all the naysayers, the movie is actually pretty good.  

The folks over at FilmSelect Trailers have put together all the Solo clips they could find, for those who can’t wait for a taste of Chewbacca (Joonas Suotamo), Han (Alden Ehrenreich) and Lando (Donald Glover, so hot right now).

In the meantime, Deadpool is being Deadpool in a few more clips to make the wait till number two a bit shorter. Firstly, David Beckham is on the receiving end of Deadpool love, seeing that Beckham was the target of the Merc with a Potty-Mouth in the first movie. Deadpool is trying to make amends, but, yeah, it’s not going so well.

Finally, Celine Dion of all people allows Deadpool to show off his amazing dancing skills in the video for Ashes, strangely enough set to be on the D2 soundtrack. And yes, it’s about as dramatic as one can hope for.
