Destiny 2 is one of, if not the biggest game to come out this year. But it appears developer Bungie still isn't happy with the numbers, with a free trial of the game opening up to would-be gamers today (28 November 2017).

The free trial is available across all platforms, including PS4, Xbox One and Windows PC, with interested gamers prompted to head to the Battle.net site to gain access.

As far as what they'll be able to play goes, the free trial will include the beginning of the campaign, which sees The Citadel get taken by Dominus Ghaul, and forcing Guardians to start from square one as they try regain their powers. There will also be multiplayer gameplay on the cards with access to the Crucible arena. Added to this, should you choose to buy the game after the trial, all your points, rewards and progress will be saved.

It's unclear how long this trial is lasting, so we'd advise acting soon if you're interested in Destiny 2, but are yet to experience it.
