EA Sports confirms 25 August launch for Madden 16
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 17 April 2015 | Categories: newsIf your idea of football is 300-pound men colliding into one another at breakneck speeds, chances are you've got a copy of Madden NFL sitting next to your console of choice. With the real NFL still in the offseason and free agency trading well underway, you'll be pleased to hear that EA Sports has confirmed that Madden 16’s launch date is set for 25 August.
For right now, that's all that EA Sports is willing to confirm, but the developers say more info will be coming in May. Although EA did not confirm which platforms will be getting the title, we expect Madden 16 to be a full cross platform release, with both older-gen (PS3, Xbox 360) and next-gen consoles receiving the game, as has happened in the past.
To keep you happy till May, check out funnyman Kevin Hart and Dave Franco in one of the promo videos for Madden 15 below, perfectly capturing the spirit with which the game is often played.
