Evetech Nightblade Gaming PCs
By Ryan Noik 18 August 2014 | Categories: newsEvetech brings a range of small form factor gaming powerhouses to the market ready to dominate, with the MSI Nightblade series leading the charge.
While Evetech has received many inquiries expressing a desire for small form gaming powerhouses, to date, all of the right components weren’t so easily available. That, however, has changed with the Nightblade series from MSI. This offers gamers a barebone kit inclusive of the small yet stylish case, MSI Z97 chipset motherboard, and a Gold Rated 600 W power supply. As for the case itself, it is made out of 0.8mm thick steel and coated with zinc to prevent rust and wear, pertinent because steel, unlike aluminium, can take its fair share of knocks, bumps and rough handling without cracking.
Small, but mighty
As befitting a case designed to be more easily carried and transported, the Nightblade sports a LAN-friendly handle situated at the bottom front of the case. Additionally, Evetech offers three pre-customised variants in either Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 configurations, which can be customised even further to fit a user’s budget as well as their specific needs.
While its mini-ITX form factor may be portable, that does not mean the Nightblade is lacking for room or cramps its components. The case has enough space inside to accommodate a range of storage options, including HDD storage and MSI Super RAID, which enables users to combine hard drives, SSDs and mSATA devices.
Don’t forget the graphic cards
It further fits full-sized high-end graphics cards up to 290 mm in length and 35 mm in thickness, and accommodates the likes of the GeForce GTX Titan Black or the AMD R9 290X. This means that, whether players have pledged their allegiance to Nvidia or AMD, both groups can be assured of future proofing for when the desire sets in to upgrade their graphics solution. Additionally, case fans come standard to ensure proper cooling regardless of your setup, while a Boost Button enables easy, on-the-go overclocking.
