GoPro's drone now named Karma, will debut in 2016
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 10 December 2015 | Categories: news"Life is a dream." That's what GoPro has to say about its new drone in the video below, which they have now decided to christen Karma. While we let you mull that over, GoPro has been working on its own drone since 2014, if the rumours and reports are to be believed.
That said, with two videos uploaded on YouTube from footage shot on the Karma drone, we are still to actually see what it looks like. In fact, there is no precise information of the drone's specifications. As such, many are left guessing as to its design. Is it a quadcopter? Is it a hexacopter? Does it even have blades?
That could change at CES next year, taking place in Las Vegas from 6 to 9 January, according to The Verge. They believe that the Karma drone could make its official appearance at the showcase event, especially as Mobile World Congress 2016, the next big tech event in March, is not really up GoPro's alley. Apart from the name, all that is known at this stage is that it will debut sometime in 2016. When precisely is still a mystery.
