Gordon Ramsay's insults coming to an Amazon Alexa near you
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 8 February 2018 | Categories: newsDuring this past weekend's Super Bowl, Amazon released an ad in which its Alexa digital assistant had lost her voice. To address the situation, Amazon 'enlisted' the help of a bunch of celebrities to answer queries that users posed to Alexa.
The voice talent included the likes of Sir Anthony Hopkins, who we would listen to reading the phonebook, as well as quirkier picks like Rebel Wilson (Pitch Perfect) and celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.
Taking inspiration from the ad to real life, the foul-mouthed Brit is now available as a free-to-enable voice option for Amazon Alexa. As expected, Ramsay's voice will be used when asking any food related questions to Alexa, such "how does my mac and cheese look?" Also unsurprisingly, this digital version of Ramsay won't hold any criticism back, with the voice listed as "mature" on Amazon's website.
If you're a fan of any of Ramsay's shows, where he hurls obscenities at other chefs, then this one is for you. Personally, we want the Cardi B voice added as well.
