Here there be monsters in the making

In celebration of the game, which is due to drop tomorrow (26th January) on the PS4 and Xbox One, Capcom has released the first episode in the series of ‘The Making of Monster Hunter: World’ video documentaries.
The documentary series offers behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto, Executive Director/Art Director Kaname Fujioka and Director Yuya Tokuda. More particularly, the first episode in the series reveals how the project started and what inspired the vision behind bringing the world of Monster Hunter: World to life on home consoles.
That, however, is just the start. According to Capcom, upcoming video documentaries, which are slated for weekly releases, will reveal hidden secrets behind the development of the title, including an exclusive look at the motion capture and sound studios used in the game’s creation.
Viewers can also look forward to interviews with members of the development team who will provide additional insights into the design process behind the game. Hit the video below to see part one for yourself.
