Publisher WB Games has been unrelenting in the trailers released for Injustice 2. Yet another one has been uploaded to YouTube, but it's slightly different to its predecessors, detailing how the gear and upgrade systems will work in game. 

More than simply superficial, according to developer NetherRealm, the gear you obtain after winning fights in Injustice 2 will not only help change the look of your DC hero, but also imbue them with improved skills and abilities. Furthermore, different gear parts can be combined in unique ways to make for a more powerful hero. NetherRealm notes, however, that a complete set of gear is always the best route to go, as it will give you an edge over standard characters.
