It's time to pick sides in the new Tekken 7 cinematic trailer
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 24 May 2017 | Categories: newsWhen Bandai Namco revealed Tekken 7 at last year's Microsoft E3 press conference, we were already onboard to play the latest installment in the fighting franchise the moment Street Fighter's Akuma appeared on screen. Now, we're nearing closer to the game's cross-platform release on 2 June, and to amp up anticipation, a cinematic trailer for Tekken 7 has debuted.
The three and a half minute video lays out the rivalry between the Mishimas, while also serving as the actual in-game opening movie that gamers will get to experience too. Along with the Mishima father and son blood feud, it appears as if Akuma will have a bigger part to play in the game's storyline than expected.
The ultimate fight though will be between Heihachi and Kazuya Mishima, but which one will be left standing after Tekken 7 remains to be seen. Hit play on the video below to see their blood feud unfold. We've also added a gameplay trailer via PlayStation Access for good measure as well.
