Middle-Earth Shadow of War Definitive Edition announced
By Ryan Noik 3 August 2018 | Categories: newsIf you have waited till now to pick up and play last year’s Middle-Earth Shadow of War, then you may be celebrating your patience. The Definitive Edition has been announced, and comes with a rich bounty beyond the base game.
The Definitive Edition will feature the main game, along with the full Expansion Pass, including additional story campaigns, missions, playable characters, Orc tribes, weapons, abilities, enemies, as well as a new region. More particularly it includes the following:
· Middle-earth: Shadow of War Main Game
· Slaughter Tribe Nemesis Expansion
· Outlaw Tribe Nemesis Expansion
· Blade of Galadriel Story Expansion
· Desolation of Mordor Story Expansion
The title will be available for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC via Windows 10 Store and Steam come the 28th of August - since you have waited this long, another 26 days won’t hurt.
With game prices being what they are today, especially on console, sometimes waiting on the Definitive Edition of a must-have title can be a smart strategic choice, so as to get the most bang for your buck. There is no word yet as to what the retail price will be though.
In the meantime, players who have yet to “just walk into Mordor” can dip into the free game demo available on PlayStation® 4, Xbox One and PC.
