As the release date for Mortal Kombat X rolls ever closer, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has revealed what some of the DLC will include. If you buy the Kombat Pack separately, you receive four playable characters, including, Jason Voorhees from the Friday the 13th films, two other classic MK fighters and another special guest character (we’re hoping for Batman, but the Xbox Store notes it’s the Predator).

The Kombat pack further includes the Samurai Pack (see top image) with three new character skins reimaging MKX characters as Imperial Samurai and Ronin, including Ronin Kenshi, Jungu Kitana and Samurai Shinnok. No local pricing has been revealed just yet.

Bit by bit we’re also being showed more about the playable characters, with the Cage family now given the trailer treatment. Not quite your regular nuclear family, you have Sonya Blade, her ex-husband Johnny Cage and their daughter Cassie Cage. Let’s just say that you won’t find them sitting in the pews of the church come Sunday morning, especially not with Cassie’s dual pistols blazing.

Check the first trailer below to see what Jason and his hockey mask looks like, and the second one to see the Cage family in action (watch out for the classic “Here’s Johnny!”). Mortal Kombat X is scheduled to appear 14 April for all major systems.
