New ZenBook 13 is world's thinnest notebook, according to Asus
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 15 February 2018 | Categories: newsIn recent years, the ZenBook 13 range from Asus is one of the more highly anticipated ultrabooks. This year's iteration is no different, with the Taiwanese manufacturer debuting the world's thinnest notebook at 11.93 mm at its narrowest point.
The new ZenBook 13 was on show at CES earlier in the year, but now Asus has added a graphics card for the offering, which was missing at the Las Vegas-based event in January.
To that end, Asus has opted for the Nvidia GeForce MX150, and should offer more of a boost compared to the Intel versions than many ultra-thin notebooks tend to favour. In terms of other features, the new ZenBook 13 sports a 13.3" Full HD display (1920x1080), with an Intel Core i5 (8250U), 8 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 256 GB SSD.
Currently on sale Stateside, the new ZenBook 13 is available for $999 from the Asus store.
