Few gaming franchises do survival horror better than Resident Evil, and the latest offering, 7 biohazard, has seen a new trailer debut at the Tokyo Game Show. Titled TAPE 2 "The Bakers", it takes viewers deeper into a supposedly abandoned Louisiana plantation house, where we get the chance to meet the Baker family. Akin to The Hills Have Eyes movies, the Bakers aren't exactly what you'd call a traditional nuclear family, given their penchant for human flesh.

Along with an eerily haunting trailer, developer Capcom has also used it to announce the Beginning Hour demo. It's freely downloadable from the PlayStation Store, and will be available to all PS4 owners, with no PS Plus account required to access it.

Resident Evil 7 biohazard is shaping up nicely, and should leave you scared of the dark when it debuts in full on 24 January 2017. It will also support 4K on the PS4 Pro, as well as a PSVR version, to further intensify the scare factor. Hit play on the trailer below if you dare.
