Ever since Marty McFly donned those self-lacing pair of Nike MAGs, they set the benchmark as far as what shoes of the future should be like. While the real-world working pair of Nike MAGs only grace the feet of a select few, including Michael J. Fox, the American company's Hyperadapt 1.0 self-lacing shoe is a far more attainable piece of footwear. Nike showed off the prototype for this shoe earlier in the year, and now they're about to go on sale in the US on 28 November.

Nike's PR director, Heidi Burgett, confirmed the news via Twitter recently, with the shoe only being available at select US retail locations for now. As for those not residing in North America, whether or not the HyperAdapt 1.0 shoes will be obtainable remains to be seen.

How much the NikeAdapt 1.0 will cost, is also a mystery at this stage, but you can enjoy them from afar in the Wired video below for now.
